Magnetic Valentine Card Picture Tutorial :)

Hey guys! So my last video for the 31 day challenge was for the "I Heart You" Valentine card with a removable magnetic heart! (Here's the video if you haven't seen it:
)

I'll take you step by step how I made this card starting with a base of kraft cardstock:

Next I used pieces of patterned paper from Crate Paper's "Restoration" Collection.

I cut strips of the papers with varying widths. Also I cut a heart out from the "George and Basic Shapes" Cricut Cartridge out of Kraft cardstock at 2.5" and Cut around the negative leftover from the cut as well.

I also rounded the corners with a Fiskar's Corner Rounder Punch:

So I ended up with these pieces:I adhered the strips of patterned paper onto the heart shape. This will become the removable heart magnet.
I used two Basic Grey Magnets, one positive and one negative, in order to make the magnetic part of the card.

I attached one magnet to the back of the Heart shape which we adhered the papers to:
And I attached the other magnet (be sure to attach the opposite side so that the magnets attract each other) on the back of this pink piece of patterned paper. I used the negative of the cut to line up where the magnet should be placed so that the heart cut out will fit perfectly within the negative once the magnets are attached.

Then I adhered the paper to the front of the card base. So now the magnet is sandwiched between the patterned paper and the front of the card,

So now the heart magnet we made attaches to the card like so:
Then I attached the negative of the heart onto the card and added some patterned paper on top.

Then I added some white American Crafts Thickers to spell out the "I" and the "You". Hope you guys like it!
