These are some of the cards I made recently to try out new layouts/ techniques that I had not tried before! The winter wishes card is made using 1 x 1 inch squares of patterned paper, that I accented with bling and glitter-glue. The sentiment is made using American Crafts letter stickers in white.
Next, the thanks card is made using a card base of kraft cardstock that measures 4.25 x 4.25. The large red heart is cut from the "George and Basic Shapes" cricut cartridge at I believe 2 inches. It is embossed with the "Victoria" cuttlebug embossing folder. I added a stamped heart from an American Crafts "Thanks" stampset and a smaller heart cut out of white cardstock, along with some American Crafts white letter stickers for the sentiment.
The next card is made by stamping a polka-dot background stamp by Inkadinkadoo on half of the card base (standard sized) diagonally. I did this by covering one side with a scrap of paper while I stamped in brown ink. Then I added some diagonal strips of red, green, and brown cardstock and some white letter stickers from American Crafts. I added a little bit of red glitter-glue for the finishing touch!
And last but not least, the "You Make Me Happy" is made from a standard sized card base of Kraft cardstock. I stamped the background using two different flower images and some brown ink. The sentiment is from the American Crafts stamp set entitled "thanks" and it is stamped on a piece of yellow cardstock which I then adhered to the base. I added a strip of light blue cardstock for some color and some white gel pen around the outside edge of the card :)I hope you guys like all of the cards!
